I can’t believe this! I was once an introvert and now I am STILL an introvert. Nevertheless, what I have learned from my Toastmasters journey thus far is, anyone can develop into a competent speaker and a leader with practice and dedication.
When you truly believe in yourself and harness your confidence, others will believe in your conviction. It is important to surround yourself with winners.
I have learned that you must follow and learn before you can lead. For almost 2 years now I have been working up the ranks in Toastmasters and now its time to be President of my club!
All I’m saying is, get out there and have some fun. If you don’t have the skills you want, find out how to learn them and develop them. GET AROUND POSITIVE AND OPTIMISTIC PEOPLE THAT GET RESULTS.
Do not allow pessimists to board your mental ship. Throw negative and limiting thoughts overboard. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
2017 is going to be an amazing year and I will do something I have never done before. I’m gonna run this club LIKE A BOSS and we are gonna win all the awards so watch out neighboring Toastmasters clubs.
Its not what you know, its who you know. However if you know some cool people and you also know how you can shine in your spot then you have the best of both worlds. Stay educated in your field and expand your connections by meeting others.
Your network equals your net worth. This simple formula explains why I super-glued Paul in my circle and other Toastmasters like Kyle Stephens because they keep me striving to be my best and to earn the most I can. Tis not by folly that I am here, I have worked hard and stayed consistent.
Let’s show up and show out today and take care of some business! Peace
