Its truly a beautiful day outside, I’m glad you are here! Today I want to keep it short and sweet by emphasizing the importance of staying connected with friends, family members, and people in general because humans require social interaction to thrive.
Our innate need to be connected is fulfilled when we speak to one another, when we spend time with others, and also when we connect with others on a deep level. Connections can be further strengthened by contributing value or making a significant impact on others.
Having an uplifting group to support you – heck, having 3 or 4 positive groups that support you is a wonderful thing, especially if you meet with this group regularly in person (preferred) or online. The opposite of a power group is a dis-empowering group of people that bring you down.
Staying connected to the wrong people will tarnish your capacity to achieve your dreams!
Instead, focus on staying connected with friends and groups of people that can keep you motivated and inspired to be your best self. We’ve all heard the saying:
“If you’re the smartest in the room, then you’re in the wrong room.”
Well maybe its time for us to seriously consider our network. It has been very tough for me because I’ve had to drop some of my older friends because of their limited mindsets. I now believe by purposefully surrounding myself with winners, I can only develop into a winner.
All in all, winners remember the importance of connection and creating a strong, positive network. This network can be reinforced by expressing gratitude and appreciation by recognizing members in your network for their creativity and value. It is my wish that you make an effort TODAY to build relationships with those who inspire and empower you.
That’s it for me, peace!
